What is Injectable Steroids?

Anabolic androgenic steroids come in many forms, from transdermal patches and creams to implanted pills under the skin, but it is still an oral tablet, with injectable steroids being the most common and effective.

Injectable steroids will provide greater stability; they will provide largely better benefits, and in many cases will be better tolerated in terms of side effects and safety. No doubt there are exceptions to this rule, but as a general rule of thumb these statements will prove to be true.

How to inject steroids?

Intramuscular injections will make up your entire steroid injection procedure. When giving intramuscular (IM) injections, it is always best to keep the syringe separate from the needle. Each of these products should be sealed as much as possible in its own packaging. Not only does this give you maximum hygiene, but it also makes the process easier.

However, if you do have syringes with needles already installed, you can of course still use them, but just add something to the program that isn’t needed when the two items are separated. Here’s what you’ll need each time you have an intramuscular injection:

● A 3ml or 5ml syringe (usually 3ml is preferred)
● Two alcohol wipes
● Band-Aids or other forms of sterile adhesive
● A needle between 1″ and 1.5″ in length and a gauge between 22 and 25. Your decision on the length of the needle depends largely on the muscle you want to inject into. The smaller one-inch needles fit almost all of the muscles we inject steroids into, and only the buttocks area (the dorsal gluteus area) really needs the 1.5-inch needle size.
● The other needle, which should be between 18 and 21 gauge, is used to remove the steroid solution from the vial. This needle should no longer be used for injections and should be safely discarded.

Intramuscular (IM) injection procedure

Step 1: Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water.
Step 2: Make sure all your equipment is brand new and sealed and no packaging has been torn or opened. Discard any suspicious items.
Step 3: Use an alcohol swab to wipe the top of the vial from where you will extract the steroid solution.
Step 4: Remove the syringe from its packaging, making sure its tip has not been touched or breathed in or otherwise contaminated.
Step 5: Remove the larger gauge needle from the package and fasten it tightly to the syringe.
Step 6: Keep the cap on the needle and inhale the same amount of air as the amount of solution you want to extract.
Step 7: Remove the needle cap and insert the rubber stopper at a 90 degree angle while turning the vial upside down. Then, you push air into the vial to make extraction easier. Then slowly pull the desired amount of solution into the syringe.
Step 8: Remove the needle from the vial and tap the syringe to remove air bubbles. The small air bubbles can be pushed out and the cap can be replaced.
Step 9: Use an alcohol swab to thoroughly wipe the area of ​​skin to be injected. Wait up to 30 seconds before continuing with the injection.
Step 10: Remove the injection needle from the package and insert it into the syringe. Then remove the cap from the needle.
Step 11: Insert the needle into the intramuscular injection site with a steady hand, pushing the needle all the way in at a 90-degree angle. At this point, you must pull the plunger back into the suction device to confirm that you did not hit the vein with the needle. If you see blood, abort the injection, throw away the needle and restart the procedure with a new needle.
Step 12: Inject the steroid solution into the muscle slowly and slowly. Don’t go too fast: it’s better to go slower, although it can easily end quickly.
Step 13: Remove the syringe and cover your injection site with a Band-Aid.
Step 14: You have now completed the intramuscular injection procedure in a safe and hygienic manner.
